the weeknd, pe numele lui adevarat, real si autentic, abel tesfaye, a luat lumea andărgraund a muzicii prin surprindere cu mixtape-ul lui ‘house of balloons’, lansat in martie 2011. criticii au inceput sa pupe pamantul pe care abel calca, si din ce in ce mai multa lume il tot asculta pe baiat.
pe youtube apar mai multe clipuri neoficiale ale pieselor de pe ‘house of balloons’ (‘wicked games’, ‘the morning’), dar iata ca the weeknd a lansat un prim videoclip oficial, pentru melodia ‘the knowing’. ‘the knowing’ reprezinta ce face omu’ asta mai bine din punct de vedere muzical, un amestec de r&b si dubstep pe care-l auzi mai rar si-l auzi cu placere. la chestia asta se adauga si o voce aproape la fel de buna ca a mea, deci va imaginati ca abel e un tip foarte foarte talentat.
mai jos, clipul la ‘the knowing’, foarte simbolist, abstract si cul bineinteles, specific oricarui artist care vrea sa-si faca fanii sa nu inteleaga nimic din ceea ce vrea sa transmita. ideea de baza e ca ea il insala pe el, el se razbuna. macar ascultati piesa daca n-aveti sorti de izbanda cu videoclipul, pentru ca merita.
